Exclusions also include expenses related to boarding or daycare, and dental and orthodontic treatments. Also, the insurance does not cover bilateral conditions or cosmetic procedures.
Spot's policy on pre-existing conditions does not cover arthritis treatment. Any medical condition that was present before the plan was issued is considered a pre-existing. Unless the condition has been cured, insurance companies will not cover arthritis treatment. There is no age limit on this policy, but customers must pay a $2,500 deductible to cover vet costs.
